You are the dumb driver you complain about!

We all do it. We are driving down the road, minding our own business and some one on their cell phone cuts us off, so we shout obscenities at them and complain that they need to learn how to drive. Don't deny it, you know you do it. Hell I have no qualms about it, I will admit it. I even do it from the passenger seat. My husband tells me I have enough road rage for the both of us. But, you see, there is a problem with all of that. Most people think that they are an excellent driver and it is just all those around them that "can't" drive. Well, the problem with that particular line of thinking is that it is not true. I have been driving down the road with my kids buckled into their car seats in the back, doing the speed limit and had person pass me and flip me off like I was standing still. When someone is following the law, that does not make them a bad driver or an idiot. The idiot is the guy doing 75 around a curve when it is raining, the guy not wearing a seatbelt, the guy texting away on his cell, the woman putting her makeup on while doing 85 on the interstate. Just because you are so comfortable driving that it has become routine, does not make you an excellent driver. Even the slightest mistake can lead to catastrophic ends. When you are driving pay attention. Don't worry about your cell phone, your makeup, or even what's on the radio. The most important thing is arriving at your destination safely. Even if you are a good driver who follows all the rules of the road, you still have to be aware of those that don't. With all that said I leave you with a video I found on YouTube.
