This Hatred Astounds Me!! pt. 2

As you know I have been writing a response to Pastor Terry Jones and his minions at the World Dove Outreach Center in Gainesville, FL. Before I get back to my responses to their reasoning, I have a few things to say. Pastor, You need to make up your damn mind! What did you think was going to happen when you said that the NY Imam agreed to move the Muslim Center? Especially if you knew you were lying (which by the way is breaking one of the 10 commandments "Thou shalt not lie.")? Of course he was going to deny it and speak out! Where was your head then? And please tell me this whole Koran burning thing is not because of the Mosque that IS NOT AT GROUND ZERO! It is two blocks away. You know what else is two blocks away? A few bars and a few strip clubs! Should they move as well out of respect for those lost? Do not condemn all Muslims (many of the ones I know are very nice and peaceful people) for the actions of a small handful. If we were to to that with all religions, then many people would have major issues with all religions! With that said, all of those that are supporting the actions of Pastor Jones, you need to realize that this country was founded on freedom of religion. Many of you say that our forefathers were Christian and god-fearing men. That is where you are wrong. In actuality, many of our founding fathers were deists (meaning they believed in a god, but did not follow Christian teachings) so think before you down someone else's religious beliefs. How would you feel if someone disrespected your religion? Also, just because some Muslims across the ocean burn the Bible, does not make it okay for you to do so. That just breeds more animosity. Why don't you try by leading by example? You might be surprised at how far that will get you.

Okay so right now the Dove World Outreach Center's website is conveniently down for "maintenance". This is very suspicious. It goes down for maintenance not a day after he cancels, then re-considers the cancelling of the Koran burnings? Something tells me that this man is just like the WBC and only out for publicity. I mean, can he really be this nutso? Since the website is down, I can not continue my "rant" against his reasonings, but trust me I will do so the second the site is back up!
